Dagmar Gewiese David, Mother, Artist, and Creator of the“Colorful Happy High Chairs”
When our son was born we embarked on a long journey to find him a special high chair, his personal little throne, where we would get many hours of joy watching and
teaching him how to eat and make music by banging on his tray. We didn’t want anything made of plastic or commercialized with popular TV cartoon images. As you can imagine, this eliminated almost
all of the baby high chairs currently being sold on the market. We wanted a traditional wood high chair, but much more than the plain white and typical light or dark stained choices.
We came to the realization that the high chair we were seeking had to be created and that’s exactly what I did! My very first creation was the “Gold fish pond and Lilly pad design”
and I personalized it with my son’s name: Kai. Kai amused himself with the many gold fish and lilly pads floating in the pond. He eventually learned the concept of size--small and big, and
followed along as his father or I counted the fishes in the pond.
Through our friends and family the secret was out. We were soon contacted by many other newly minted parents, grand parents, uncles
and aunts that shared the same views as ours.
We hope your search will end here too! We want to create that special high chair for your precious baby. Remember, each one of our high
chairs is a work of art which requires time and attention to detail. So please allow us reasonable time to complete your order.
I promise you, it will be worth the wait!
